"We are not hitting the panic button by any stretch of imagination. If you were to go back a game and a half ago you would say we were mentally and physically very tough," he told reporters.
"We are not going to over-react but we are very aware the last game and a half of what happened but we will be the ones who will fix it," he said.
Indeed Spoelstra believes that come the end of the 82 game regular season, his team will look back on this period as a learning period.
"Probably at the end of the day, you get to March, April this is probably something that will benefit us.
"I know a lot of people maybe thought it was going to happen seamlessly... but you need to face adversity, you need to stumble, to feel this pain, to be able to respond and grow.
"In this last 48 hours they are getting to know each other, this is good, this is what makes you stronger," he said.

Can someone shoot him in the head Already...
Raptors... please rip us apart
Cmon an obvious 3 game losing streak ... MAY... PROBABLY a MUST, to kick him out as Miami Heat's Head Coach
I agreed with him, but hear me out.
They will get better this way, teams always do, unless the players are all Starbury-esque selfish pricks.
If you look at the past 9 games.
Lebron became better and better, he is the first one that made the adjustment, no one can deny that. Turnovers are down, he is getting more and more comfortable, and became more efficient when he is not the focal point of the offense.
Bosh is also getting better offensively despite being put in a very difficult situation with a JA or a Haslem next to him. I compare this to Larry Hughes, when he has to play with Eric Snow (who is obviously a bad fit. Difference is, Larry Hughes fail to adjust even in the slightest sense, and eventually quit from the team concept entirely.
Wade on the otherhand is the one now learning to make the adjustment. He had it easy earlier when Lebron is deferring, now, like this game, when he is not the focal point, he struggles to do the dirty work with restrain. But this is only natural because he missed camp, and he is just as great as Bron, he will come around.
So, eventually, this team will feature Bron & Wade as 1/2 or 2/1 punch on any given night, and Bosh will always be the 3rd barring matchup. I am not too worried. If you look at their PER, there's a trend of regression to the mean. Lebron started ard 15, now up to 24. Wade began ridiculously high at 30, now back to 23, Bosh was low at 12, now back to 18. These are good numbers and balance, and it slowly shows a balancing of talent usage.
I hate to always compare Spo with MB, but they are just too similar like they are twins. This is a new team, and they have not been in battle together too long, so every opponent they face, they havn't have that common hate yet. But that will come around when they lose more. This is just like the 2nd year of MB in Cavs, when he keep playing Snow & Hughes together...the players reaction is identical in their body language to these Heats, its almost like bottled up fury because they can't do what they think would work best, but keep implementing ridiculous stuff because they want to win.
What happened then? Snow got injured, and Gibson was forced into the lineup, and wala...everyone plays with passion again and got to the finals.
It is a similar situation except, MB is having it wrong in 1 spot, Spo had 2. But it does not matter, losing early together and adversity is always good for chemistry.
BUT! What Erik Spoelstra is wrong at.....tada.....HE IS PART OF THE ADVERSITY THAT THIS TEAM IS FIGHTING AGAINST
