I was thinking that Burleson might be able to move to the slot when we do go 3-wide, so I pictured us getting a bigger WR in one of the later rounds. Names that come to mind (maybe you have others) include Hankerson (Miami), Toliver (LSU), Binns (Cinci), or Salas (Hawaii).
If we want fast/quick, another name that comes to mind is Rojo (USC) who has been good at returning kicks this season....
Can you tell me more about OLB Dontay MOch (Nevada). Saw a site listing his am 6'1", 240-ish and runs a sub 4.4??? Is that accurate? What do you know about that kid?
He's playing at about 235 and the 4.4 is overly optimistic, more like low 4.5s. He's a thumper though and he's got better recognition skills than Ernie Sims, with whom he's often compared. He reminds me of Will Witherspoon, a guy that isn't great on his own but can be very effective in the right scheme and next to a good MLB.
I like Hankerson of the guys you listed. He's finally healthy and he's very strong, plus he's been limited by a lousy QB. Tolliver is not an NFL talent--he can't catch the ball. Salas is intriguing but he needs work on his routes, probably needs a year or two before he's more than a limited role player. He's not a return guy in the NFL. I'm indifferent on Binns; sometimes he excites me, sometimes I don't see anything. I need to watch more of Cincy this year to get a better educated impression.
One guy I would like in the 3rd/4th round is Jeff Fuller of Texas A&M. He had a monster game yesterday once he finally got a QB that can throw a midrange ball. He's similar to Burleson in that he changes speeds very well to get separation, but he has that extra gear to get open deep. Tough kid, good football IQ. He'll be a better NFL player than college player a la Mike Wallace or Vincent Jackson.
