If 100% DGooden might be a nice pickup for a backup big, and Sasha isn't doing anything for us at this point... But I'm extremely wary of big bodies with bad feet... Feet take forever to heal and generally once they start to go for a heavy player, it's always an issue for them.

So I think I'd pass and keep looking if it was me.

He would be a nice addition but the price to get him may hurt us more than help.

It won't happen, but I'd actually start Camby over Bynum until Drew got into a rhythm. Wishful thinking: getting a top-defensive center who isn't going to get his panties in a twist over his touches and shots.

i think we should consider picking up Jeff Adrien, I've seen a lot of Warriors games, and he is just pure hustle and energy. He's a decent rebounder too. He has a pretty bad BBIQ, and not much of a scorer, but for a backup big, which we need, i think he'd be a decent fit. He just got waived today.

no one thinks anything about DC except that he's a 2nd rounder that managed to make the team. people were just having fun at the kings expense that game, never expected you to come over and take it seriously.

I know this might sound crazy, but why not give (Walton or Sasha) + first round pick for Anthony Randolph and filler? Or just a first round pick for Randolph straight up? He's very athletic, young, and has an all around game. The Knicks are trying to shop him around the league and they want a first round pick for him. Not to mention that he's left handed and you know what that means for opposing players playing him on defense. He is listed at PF which would give Gasol plenty of rest and have another addition to the bench unit. He's 6'11 very good at handling the ball, very good at blocking shots, and he runs the court well.

As for the Knicks they would benefit greatly because Walton is a pass first player and would flourish in Mike D's offense. Same with Sasha's shooting in Mike D's system. And since Denver is looking to rebuild all they want is draft picks. Also that would give the East all it could bare with Denver wanting a draft pick included in the Melo deal to the Knicks. With Miami, Boston, Orlando,Chicago (I'm not convinced yet they are elite but their up there), and adding the Knicks to the mix in the East they could battle it out and we can have our back up C/PF.

Randolph before the Knicks averaged 11.6 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.3 ast, 1.6 blks, 0.9 stls, and has a 44% field goal percentage. Those numbers will go up the triangle. I'd say he'd be very very good in Phil Jackson's system and with the run and gun bench unit.

I'd really like to see this guy on the Lakers. Lamar even said he saw a little bit of him when he was younger.

lakers don't have anything to offer for randolph. walton is a big negative, so that makes it even worse for the knicks.

i would love Randolph on this team, i think Phil + Kobe could give this kid the inspiration and direction he needs to unlock the potential he has.

But with that being said, we have nothing the Knicks would want, it wont happen.

would you guys want to sign Yao as a backup if he could be had for MLE next yr or less? I say 3yrs/10-15mill....if he can show he can play decent 10-15minutes as backup couldn't hurt nor fatten Dr. Buss pockets.

What do you guys think about Deandre Jordan? Of what I´ve seen this season, although he is slightly undersized for the C, he makes it up because he is very athletic and a pretty solid defensive player (Mostly, will develop into). This year he made 0,9M in the Clippers, and is averaging 5,7p/5,8r @ 21,3 minutes with 1,3 blocks per game (Last year 1@16,5 minutes). He ranks 11th in blocks per 48.
