We have some great pieces and the chemistry always looks good, but a win against elite team or not, the Knicks rank doesn't change unless the talent improves or is built upon [with a C and or Melo].. We can very well catch the Heat on an off night and win, or an injured Celtics team with no big men and beat them, or a bulls team with no Noah [though I still think we are as good as the bulls], but it doesn't change the team we have..
Melo isn't going to be some savior and lead us straight to a championship, but you better believe if we have him here we have a much better shot against Celtics Heat types, as well as [and perhaps more importantly] against a healthy Bulls team or Magic squad.. we also don't see stupid losses to the Cavs on off nights when Amare Melo and Felton are on our team together...
The idea of trading 2 of the 3 [Gallo Chandler Fields] has grown on me, but i'd still say Gallo Curry AR and whatever else we can throw in before...I'd imagine it's going to be a multi-team deal though so it won't be as cut and dry, which could be a good thing.
gallo is a textbook definition of a role player: he shows up sometimes, isnt consistent, cant rely on him...he should be the first to go of the young players
2nd is fields, simply b/c den has no need for chandler cuz he a FA after this season
curry/fields/gallo, get it done
