Same difference...again, all I take from quote is that Amar'e has confidence in his teammates. The inference comes from the writer, injecting his own opinion. Yes, Lawrence is an opinion writer, but, he's decided to make the call on how the quote should be taken. This team is playing and improving on a week-by-week basis. Why wouldn't he believe this team can be successful? Instead, Lawrence has determined Amar'e has an ulterior motive. I've grown tired of the sports media in this area in all sports attempting to dictate the terms of the conversation. It goes on regarding every franchise. Remember, the Knicks were one of the failures of the off-season, right?
