Well, we've already proven we can beat them there (we do beat them there if we get one more yard and don't fumble), so I think that is as relevant as their home record. I also think the fact that our D is playing this well and we haven't trailed by more than a TD all season is very relevant to a discussion on point spread. I'm guessing it will be a low scoring game in the high teens/low 20's.
I just don't get this line of thinking. We didn't prove we can beat them in Atlanta because we DIDN'T beat them in Atlanta. It's like Eagles fans saying 'Oh well if Akers does so and so, we win the game. The Packers didn't beat us, we're better than them.'
Fact of the matter is, you need to make certain plays in certain situations, and we didn't get it done. It worries me that we weren't able to put the game away last night when we had the opportunity. Instead we gave Vick a shot at beating us and he, luckily, made a poor decision on 1st and 10.
Matt Ryan doesn't scare me as much as Michael Turner and their run defense. If we're not able to move the ball on the ground in this game, we're not going to win.
