Media is so freaking crazy in this country/world. Journalists should have to apply for a license and there should be a board that governs ethics. Too many erroneous articles and you get suspended.
If you look at the Lebron James' situation/decision - every journalist was wrong with the exception of Steven A. Smith. And he was probably just lucky. So why do we buy into any of this?
Stephen A actually guaranteed the Knicks during the season and then said the Heat 2 days before Lebron announced his decision but Stephen A has been most right
SAS said Lebron was going to Miami like 3 weeks before "The Decision"

but I clearly remember from the late summer time it was one of AR and Gallo, and then come fall time, it was swtiched to they can have both but not fields

dude when i asked what best NY offer was, I remember you yourself said eddy/gallo/1st rd pick from what you had heard
and in the fall sheridan had the article that they can have both gallo and AR, but not fields...DEN may be on crack, but like i said, ny changed its mind on what was willing to be offered (from late summer time, to fall, etc), and I guess who can blame them, no one thought AR would be garbage

So you are mad at Donnie for improving the offer?

I too will feel disappointed in Donnie if he doesn't get Melo here, but at the same time, I doubt there is much more Donnie could have done or offered that would have changed the situation. . it's been out of his hands from the get go. . if there's someone to blame, it will be Melo for not holding out on a trade to the Knicks.

if donnie cant land melo, its a bigger failure than lbj
lbj never wanted to come here
melo is clamoring for 5 months to come here

It's out of Donnie's hands. It's up to Melo to get himself here, not Donnie.

so then why do teams pay GMs millions per year? its the job of the gm to get the player
