My question would be if they manage to pull off this three team trade is NJ a better team than us?
I don't get this line of thinking. GEt Melo next to Chandler Amare and Felton and deal with the rest in the off season. There are no other stars after Melo so Donnie will be getting killed if he doesn't bring him in
You do not get the line of thinking that giving up too much does not make sense? Teams win championships not two stars. If we gut our team and give up more picks we are hamstringing our ability to both bring in new talent and make future trades.
I want him here, I am pretty sure I said that but I am not willing to overpay for him. You have to be smart. There is an acceptable price and that price will be uncomfortable because we are getting the best player in the deal HOWEVER it does not have to be so painful it hurts... forever.
We need to be patient and make the smart trades, and the smart moves.
What is not to get about wanting to pay a fair price and not wanting to overpay?
