They deal with Mcdyess to NYk for Nene so there you go Denver was one of the few teams in the past that was willing to deal with NYk. Usually you will have to construct a much bigger package to get Carmelo away but Denver might not be so dumb because Melo will get them in the playoffs, that's a lot of dollars and maybe worth more than that pick they can get before february.
WIlson chandler or Galinari will not take them to the playoffs like carmelo will. You are simply downgrading from superstar to role player so taking on their contracts doesn't benefit Denver.
What Denver wants is expiring and high picks. They don't want any combination of NYK players becausue they are not easy to flip into picks.
NYK player are playin great in dantoni's system but perhaps will fair not so well in Georges.
THe only reaoson why Denver has to deal with NYK is because Melo is simply saying it's NYK or the highway. So the deal breaker is going to be whether that extra NYK pick NYk gives them is more important than making the playoffs. Denver can't beat LA but they can beat upset any other team in the western conference.

At least it's getting to them too.

That's because as a Cav's fan you know better than anyone else that no one wants to live in Cleveland, therefore there's no money to be made in endorsements, that is of course only if your name is LeBron James. But then again even the little money he made in endorsements wasn't enough to keep him there.
I mean you guys must feel so used by letting this guy pimp the whole city, make you guys beg, and then leave that's cold. But there's tons of dough here in NY in endorsements TV, etc that Melo can triple his salary if he wants.

LAL? Boston?
