^^^and what package might that be? Dont tell me Artest/Walton  and we sure as hell aint trading Bynum unless Nene is included in Den package and I highly doubt Den sends out 2 of their top 3 players to a wc rival  and we got NO 1st picks until 2013, yea best package huh? :-?

good one dude, is anthony going to play backup PF for us? :-? you two above must think this is 2k11 or something, who the hell is going backup the PF spot? Please dont say Joe Smith or Caracter  , as if it wasnt apparent enough over these previous weeks, Bynum is a fouling machine and Pau is playing like bitch at times, Odom is the only one who shows any decent signs of consistency and NO one in the league has a backup big like Odom coming of their bench. But besides the obvious, wtF would Den want to do with that package, are they rebuilding around Odom?

someone's salty today, lol.

& no, I realize to get value you have to trade value & yes - since Melo doesn't seem interested in signing extension to Jersey (if he wanted 2 be a Net, he would've been one by now) - then a package revolving around Bynum would be the best deal, IMO.
And how are you so sure what we are / not doing.

Who knows what can happen by now and deadline, time will tell

not salty but lets be realistic here, we are within the same conference usually they dont trade big time players amongst the same conference. 2ndly say Den is willing to accept Bynum as the main piece, do you really have faith in Pau lasting the whole season as the starting C? I know we've won before with minimal contribution from Bynum but looking at how Pau has played this year, I have no confidence that he'll survie the season/playoffs being the full time starting C with T-rex Ratliff as the main backup c. Anthony can only provide so much offensively, he's NOT going to make the difference we lose on the defensive end with the lost of Bynum, now if mitch has some dirty pics of the Den owner/mgmt and can force them to give us Nene as well, that dam by all means do that ISH!

I know we have no idea what next year brings with a lockout looming but just wondering if Lakers could get Aaron Brooks for the MLE. Would finally get a PG who can creat off the dribble although he is short.

Scola and Battier for Gasol. Scola much tougher and better scorer and at half the price. Battier is ideal corner 3 sf that lakers need not Ron.

Brooks would be nice to be included but lakers don't have a lot to give back. I see Lowery has got most of the starts not sure what going on their. But Scola, Brooks, and Battier expiring for Ron and Gasol be really nice. Lakers could throw in Brown, Ebanks and some filler.

Very brief mention, so take it with a grain of salt:

Hinrich's name has been linked to the Lakers if they feel they need to find an upgrade for Steve Blake.

Interesting. I would feel bad for Blake if he was traded after just signing a 4 year deal. The problem really isn't Blake. Cut Fisher's minutes and give them to Blake or even move Blake into the starting unit and you will see increased production. Much like Trevor Ariza benefited from playing next to guys like Kobe, Pau and Bynum I have a feeling you would see the same from Blake.

Not sure Lakers have anything Washington would want. He would be an upgrade over Fisher but so would a whole bunch of other players. I would like to see Blake start and see what he could do with the starters. Fisher would do fine with the 2nd Unit.

Agree 100%.
I don't think we're utilizing him properly, & don't understand why Fish is getting so many MPG (saving him for PO's would be advantageous for us) - & u hit it on playing alongside KGB, he'll thrive getting more mins w/ them, but we'll see

How about Luke Walton to Toronto for Jerryd Bayless.

It works under the Trade Machine.
