Lining up for Chicago:
Derrick Rose - on an MVP mission this season. Orlando has trouble staying in front of opposing perimeter players at the best of times. Rose is lightning quick and has now added a very reliable jump shot to his game. How the Magic deal with him will be key to the game.
Keith Bogans - his mission this season is to prove that by sucking so much on offense, any mediocre defender can actually be labelled a defensive specialist, or stopper.
Luol Deng - quietly having a very good year. He's solid at both ends, Hedo will have to step up.
Carlos Boozer - combined with the improvement of Rose, the offseason acquisition of Boozer appears to have taken Chicago to the next level. He's averaging 20 and 10 in only 32mpg.
Kurt Thomas - Filling in for the injured Joakim Noah, Thomas is a savvy vet who still plays good D and will battle Dwight Howard hard.
Last Matchup
At the beginning of December, Orlando hammered Chicago on their home floor. However, that was their first game with Boozer still trying to get acclimated, and since then the Bulls have gone 22-7, including 16-2 at home. The Magic have obviously made big changes to their roster since then, so not too much can be from that result.
