Your very own 76'ers were off to a bad start and have turned things around. Same as NY.
the knicks are 4-10 in their last 14 games since peaking at 7 games over .500. sixers are 7-3 in their last 10. so not really the same.
IF you bothered reading the entire chain of posts you'd see that we were comparing STARTS to the Season, NOT picking and choosing streaks mid-way through the Season.

But with that said, even with a poor stretch at the moment, I'll repeat what I said above: NY is still in the 6th Seed, and NY is still ahead of the 76'ers by 2.5 Games as of Feb 10th, 2011.
Also, if you're going to compare current current stretches it'd be prudent to actually do an EQUAL comparison, instead of again picking and choosing what you want to see (IE: 10 Games to 10 Games, instead of 14 Games to 10 Games).
'Cause if you did, you'd see that NY is actually 4-6 in their last 10 compared to the 76'ers 7-3.
Teams go through bad stretches like that all the time in the League. The Knicks have. The Hornets have. The Heat have. The Magic have. Heck your very own Lakers have DCash (remember what the Threads on the GB were like earlier in the Season when that happened)?

So in short: Yes. Yes, it really is.

how is the team wearing down by mid-season a good thing? and isn't this the first yr that doug collins is coaching the sixers?
-- Where did I say in the quote above that it was? I though it was pretty clear-cut that I was saying it's been a detriment to the Team for the long-haul due to not all of them being ready body-wise for it yet.
-- Where in my quote above did I deny that (this being Doug's 1st Year Coaching)?
Keep up DCash my man.
