Or I'd trade Beasley, but it would limit what else I'd include.
I honestly don't see a basketball reason not to make a trade for one of the 2nd tier SG stars. However, Taylor probably won't pony up the money, so that's that.
I think there are basketball reasons that a trade isn't likely/possible, but I guess you're correct if you're saying there's no reason not to try.
Wolves missed the boat on Kevin Martin, now he's in Houston where Morey seems to revere him. The thought of Kahn potentially dealing with Morey also terrifies me.
Sixers supposedly turned down a Batum/useful expiring (Przybilla) package for Iggy way back when they were shopping him. Batum's a better piece than Wes, and now that the Sixers are competitive, I'm not sure a mid 1st and/or Flynn tips the scales for Philly. That could be good news, maybe it means Turner will be available this summer.
Monta's a similar situation. There was probably a chance to deal for him last summer around the time Al was traded. He doesn't seem available at the moment.
A 2nd tier star doesn't seem all that available at this point in time. The most likely options are probably from the OJ Mayo/JR Smith tier. I don't know how many actual solutions look to be available right now.
