Talking about changes we've seen. No one said we are pwnage and rape all just from these games. You can start to tell when a team is actually playing with effort

Why miami? Why not mention dallas? You feel as if miami is the biggest challenge for us?

I like that we're winning, but let's be serious, we haven't really done squat outside of beating a Thunder team that just traded one of their main rotational players.

The Hawks suck and don't match up well with us at all. They do well against garbage teams, but against upper echelon teams they are exposed on a regular basis.

The Blazers game was interesting because we made a great comeback in an arena that we typically struggle in. They're not really that great of a team though, especially since Roy has been limited most of the season.

The Clippers win was very impressive, and I really like the job we did on Blake for most of the game (he didn't really start going off until the game was over). Still, the Clippers suck on the road.

Winning in OKC was definitely impressive because it had a playoff like atmosphere, but I can't help but think that they were a little out of sync after the Green (2nd in MPG) for Perkins trade. It was a good win, but we had some definite lapses on defense. Westbrook still got what he wanted, and others such as Harden and Thabo got a lot more than they should have.

There isn't anything impressive about beating the Timberwolves -- a team that we were losing to at the half. Kudos for dominating in the 2nd half, but they stink, period.

Starting Sunday we'll see what this team is all about. Beating the Spurs is a must. They are without one of their best players, and if we can't go in there and beat them while they're down and while we're fighting for playoff position it will say plenty about where this team is going this year. We have come up short in every single statement game (actually, we've gotten blown out), so this would be a nice time to turn things around and start putting the rest of the league on notice.

If we take 4 of our next 5 then my confidence in this team will be fully restored. If not, then I'll have to lower my expectations and hope that we put up a good fight in the playoffs before getting bounced.

In a way yes. It'll be interesting to see how the Lakers respond to the team that pulled their pants down around their ankles on christmas day. That loss hurt the most out of all the other losses this season, because the Lakers were supposed to show that no Big 3 is going to upstage the 2x defending champions and Kobe was supposed to show it doesn't matter if the best players team up and try to take the crown, the end result will be the same and thats with Bryant winning. But instead they get blown out and booed off their own court.

Plus, I'm not really sold on Dallas being a threat to stopping the 3-peat. I'd be inclined to say that the Spurs game would be the biggest challenge for us, to see if we can overcome them but they're not 100% right now so whatever. And now with the slight uncertainty of Boston, a Heat/Lakers Finals could very well be looming.

What I like about our team is what everyone else likes. That we're winning, and we're playing better defense. But just like others have mentioned, we really haven't done anything yet, I still want us to get wins over SA, MIA, DAL, and ORL. That loss to Charlotte has left a bad taste in my mouth, so I'd love to get payback on them as well.

Glad that we're taking the 3rd quarter more serious now.

well I was merely pointing out that fact that of all the teams you picked the one that has the terrible record against contending teams and above .500 teams, they probably will not even make the finals with the thin frontcourt and bench theyve got. No ones scared of miami in a 7 game series bra..

How many people do you think are actually cheering for the Clippers when it's a Lakers home game? It doesn't matter if they are playing in LA -- it's still a hostile environment and the Clippers simply don't play well outside of their cubby hole. It's a mental thing, and a young team like the Clippers can't handle it very well.

its funny when ppl dont answer the question that the OP asks.. i like that they are winning. u should beat teams that u should beat, and adding an asterisk by each game is dumb imo. so what if perkins wasnt there.. so what if the hawks are a bad team?(iffy) so what if minnesota really sucks? lakers beat em. so what if parker isnt there?

as far as clipps go, they are a horrible road team (record wise) and it should be blamed on them being real young. but the real problem has been injuries. having bledsoe handle the ball, aminus pump fake and miss j's.. man real frustrating. and also their end of game squad is now starting to come together. mo williams, foye, e gordon, blake, kaman/jordan is a great 5 to end games with, and they havent all been healthy all season. i hope next year that they all come healthy.

Didn't really hurt too bad, at least the game was close. You can't count on buzzer beaters to beat a team 4 out of 7 games. We got manhandled and atomically annihilated on a stage which I think was the biggest stage to play on other than the Finals. That loss didn't leave any hope showing that we could beat them if we faced them in the Finals. Everyone and their grandma watched that game due to the hype it received. And for us to get abused that badly while everyone was watching was utterly embarrassing.

And what Anklebreaker said.

Yup, the first one kobe was just playing MAD. This caused a total melt down in the 2nd half. I just see the spurs as the biggest threat to us in the playoffs. They have players that know what it takes to win it all.

I like that we are playing championship defense again. That's the difference between the W's since the all star break started and the L's right before it.
