In a way yes. It'll be interesting to see how the Lakers respond to the team that pulled their pants down around their ankles on christmas day. That loss hurt the most out of all the other losses this season, because the Lakers were supposed to show that no Big 3 is going to upstage the 2x defending champions and Kobe was supposed to show it doesn't matter if the best players team up and try to take the crown, the end result will be the same and thats with Bryant winning. But instead they get blown out and booed off their own court.
Plus, I'm not really sold on Dallas being a threat to stopping the 3-peat. I'd be inclined to say that the Spurs game would be the biggest challenge for us, to see if we can overcome them but they're not 100% right now so whatever. And now with the slight uncertainty of Boston, a Heat/Lakers Finals could very well be looming.
What I like about our team is what everyone else likes. That we're winning, and we're playing better defense. But just like others have mentioned, we really haven't done anything yet, I still want us to get wins over SA, MIA, DAL, and ORL. That loss to Charlotte has left a bad taste in my mouth, so I'd love to get payback on them as well.
