How are Williams/Paul/Nash/Amare/Melo not all easily below Rose?

Because they've all clearly outplayed him this year with the exception of Melo.

Nash has been awesome this year, and totally overlooked.

Even your knick buddy's are calling you out. You have reached rock bottom sir

I don't really care what another Knick fan thinks of me, or anyone else for that matter. Steve Nash has clearly outplayed Rose this year.

Even if he was putting up 20/2/4, Bulls fans would still think he's top 5 in the game.

Yes. Rose is arguably a Top 15 player. Definitely a Top 20 player though

That statistically, he is not at all in top-5, as most Bulls fans think he is (Many consider him better than Wade ). He's a top 9=11 player, and for his third year, that isn't bad at all. I wouldn't be surprised if he's top 5, top 3 within the next 3 years maximum, but Bulls fans are getting ahead of themselves. There isn't really a strong argument that he's better than Nash/Paul/Williams, and that's OK, it's nothing to take away from his game or potential.

You do know that we are talking about this season alone right? Rose is playing better than Nash/Paul because if your a stats person; 25/8 is more impressive than 16/10 (despite the lower, but improving efficiency) and if your not, rose is leading his team to the second best record in the east.

Also when espn makes an article on how derrick rose is better than dwade, don't be taking it personally and attack rose because of it.

Williams: 20/4/10, 3.2 TOV, 58% TS
Nash: 17/4/12, 3.4 TOV, 62% TS
Paul: 16/4/10, 2.3 TOV, 59% TS
Amare: 26/8/3, 3.4 TOV, 58% TS
Melo: 26/8/3, 2.9 TOV, 55% TS

Rose: 23/4/8, 3.4 TOV, 54% TS

1) Rose's TOR is better than Williams', Nash's, Paul's, barely worse than Amare's, and worse than Melo's. His TOR is also top-10 for PG's playing over 20 mpg (it gets even better when you compare him to pg's playing 30mpg+)
2) His efficiency is below average
3) He scores or assists on more baskets than any other player in the league
4) His rebounding rate is top-10 among pg's playing 20+ mpg

That's addressing the stats you posted. In my opinion, Rose is having a better season than Nash, Amare, Melo, and Paul. I won't object if someone claims Williams is playing better.

Rose: 23/4/8, 3.4 TOV, 54% TS

So basically TS%?

I don't think Nash has been better than Rose this year.
