Do you guys really think you'd have to wait till he was in his 70's to beat him?
This reminds me of that episode of Pros vs Joes where the young NFl stars beat the older NBA stars in basketball. Hakeem looked like an old man and he's still in his 40's.
At first I thought you were being sarcastic about your whole "I could beat MJ on the Wizards" shtick but then I realized from your subsequent posts that you are being serious and you're one of those "I could have made the pros BUT..." guys.
If you were only 6'4 unless you were at least a major college star, forgive me if I take your self-assessment about your pro prospects less than seriously. And since you went on to post your height and body type but didn't come out and say I am so and so, I'm guessing that you weren't a star. Did you even play D1? Or is that also a case of you "could have made it to D1 BUT..."?
I also think its crazy that some people think they would have to wait until he is 70 but some people just aren't that good at basketball. I still think your claim is more the other way than theirs though.
I very much doubt that you have the athleticism of an NFL athlete. If you are 6'4 and are as athletic as an NFL player then why aren't you in the NFL? Let me guess your current job is so much better lol. Plus those were all retired stars. Jordan was still playing at the time and was 38, 39.
I have no doubt that you could beat Jordan at an older age if you have some kind of game but no way could you beat him at 38/39 unless you are some kind of star on the down low, which from your posts seems very unlikely.
Of course you could always prove me wrong by linking us to your stats but I'm not gonna hold my breath on that.
Your emotions fuel the narratives that you create. You see what you want to see. You believe what you want to believe. You ascribe meaning when it is not there. You create significance when it is not present.
