The list of his accolades and success would take a long time to list , he would of been Florida's highest scoring high school basketball player ever if he didn't get injured. He has an exceptional resume that is stapled with success. Overall if you combine his work ethic , his physical talents, his personality, and his history , hes got the makings to be a very good NBA player. He doesnt turn 20 until December and will still be 19 in the draft, excellent prospect in my books. He was a freshman that led Kentucky to one of the top seeds in the country, while doing that on a team that had 5 players jump to the NBA the previous year. He has done a pretty good job filling John Wall's shoes, and I would argue has had less to work with. He consistently dominates at his level in every competition , that is something that I really like about him.
Agreed. The quote about his work ethic from Calipari was just one more thing that made me think PG Demar Derozan and BC pick
By the way, I LOVE the defensive potential and him and Demar together. They have size, strength, quickness and commitment. That could be one of the best guard defensive duos in the league which is what we need
This is what I imagine BC's thought process will be
Right now I'm thinking if we're #1 or #2 and Irving is still there, BC easily takes Irving - if we're somewhere between #2 and #6 and Harrison Barnes is on the board, BC takes Harrison Barnes - and if we're #5 or #6 and Irving and Barnes are gone, BC takes Knight. I see him staying away from Kanter and Valanciunas, staying away from Kemba and Fredette, and staying away from Sullinger and Williams because he wants to keep Davis and Amir in their PF spots. So he'll go for Irving, Barnes or Knight.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change
