I think John Wall could get him to play up to that potential. But, WAS may also like Derrick Williams, Harrison Barnes, Jared Sullinger, so I don't know.
I actually think our team would be a good situation for Perry to thrive in. I think if he goes to a team like Washington/Cleveland, where they might want him to be a go-to scorer from the start, I feel like he'll struggle. I also think that teams have to commit to playing him at the 3 (where he wants to play) instead of the 4. Over here we have two decent scoring options in DeMar/Bargs, and look pretty solid at PF, so we can afford to bring him along slowly at the 3, emphasizing his ability to set up teammates/defend/rebound/make open jumpers/cut to the basket at first, and slowly getting him to take on a bigger role handling the ball and creating off the dribble. He's an unselfish player, so I think that would benefit him more than just letting him put up a lot of shots. It also helps us maximize his versatility as a player.
