its one thing to stand up to him, kudos for that. Another to call him out.
How did Gortat call him out?
maybe not truly "calling him out" but his comments adding up sound like it.
“He’s a load. I was taking a lot of hits for three and a half years and I always thought one day there’s going to be a game where I’m going to face him in a game with real referees, and it’s going to be a different story. We’ll see tomorrow.”
“I know what frustrates this guy, I know what moves he likes to do, what kind of moves [Magic assistant] Patrick [Ewing] is teaching him, so I would say I have a little advantage over the rest of the guys in the league,
And for people who think Dwight has a beef with Gortat, he had this to say.
“I wish Marsh the best. The biggest thing for him is to not get satisfied with what he’s accomplished with his new team and stay humble and don’t let the success that he’s had in games change who he is as a person and as a player. So, I just challenge him to remain that same person he was when he was trying to get the big contract, play big minutes and stuff like that. He has to stay that same person, and if he does, the sky’s the limit.”
