Monta at PG would make this team so scary.

Not a bad offer, but in all honest the only thing that the Grizz should take for OJ is Fields.

Indy fan here. What about Rush/ Foster for Thabeet/ Mayo?

If both guys are dead men walking, atleast Rush gives you a replacement for Mayo. Rush is a complete player at both ends. Foster is a legit b/u center, I think he and Gasol would form a pretty good combo. Jeff expires but still has a couple seasons left in him. Maybe you resign him for 2yr/ @4-5 per.

I've made it known numerous times that I think Jeff Foster could help the Grizzlies down the stretch, more so than Thabeet. And I agree that with him being an expiring contract it would give Memphis some options if they wanted to re-sign him cheaper or not for next season.

While I like Brandon Rush and agree he factors into games more than his stats show, I still think he needs to improve his outside shooting, which is a need for Memphis. But I like his defence for sure and since he can play small forward as well as shooting guard he might be versatile. But given that Rudy Gay plays at least 36 minutes a game, between his backup minutes and the shooting guard minutes, that's 60 minutes between Rush, Tony Allen, Sam Young, and Xavier Henry. I'm not sure how that would work.

This is the type of deal I would seriously consider since I like the experience of both Foster and Rush, although I think Memphis would want the Pacers first round pick as well, or include Josh McRoberts for Demarre Carroll.

I don't even know if all the salaries work out.

WOW... After seeing what you all think your gonna get for Mayo and Thabeet only two things can happen. 1 you are going to be really dissapointed by what you get for them or 2. They remain on Memphis. No one... and I mean no one is giving up that much for Mayo and Thabeet. Both have very low value not. If you were lucky you might get an expiring and a second for Thabeet. While mayo has more value it isnt more than a late first (like miami's) and a role player like anthony parker or Jamario Moon. As most experts say, the reason more trades don't happen, is because GM's way overvalue the players they draft. They see it as admitting that they drafted poorly if they trade a top draft pick for their current value. The recent posts on this thread confirm that.

posted this on the blazers board, not sure how you guys see it value-wise for Mayo/Thabeet. Mostly looking to replace some of what Roy does with Mayo.
I think a first would have to be added to the trade going to Memphis, possibly rights to a euro player or something of that nature.

OJ Mayo not going anywhere now that Rudy Gay got injured. That's what happens, when your teams owners low ball offers for such a talented player, because his value is low instead of believing in his potentials and paying the price to get him.

Finally OJ is going to show what he can do, Hollins is now forced to play him. OJ going to get his shine on, let them know.
OJ Mayo , Michael Jordan , Allen Iverson.

I think the bigger issue is whether they decide to keep Zach Randolph because the playoffs may not be as much of a certainty now and he can bolt for nothing at seasons end?

Personally I don't think the Zbo rumor to Orlando makes sense, in and of itself, but what if - put a few rumors together.

1. Zbo to Orlando for J/Rich and Bass
2. Utah rebuilding and still over lux, need to plug in Favors
3. Denver interested in Thabeet.

Trade 1 - Zbo to Orlando for JRich and Bass
Trade 2 - Thabeet to Denver for TE. Denver TE and Mayo to Utah for Millsap. Millsap to Grizz.

That would give the Grizz the flexibility to sign Marc and a front line of Gasol/Millsap/Bass/DA.

Pipedream, but interesting nonetheless.

I see there's a story that Mike Miller is available. Would trading him for Thabeet make sense?

If Mike were on a 1 or 2 year deal then yes. However, Mikes got 4 years beyond this season at an additional $22+ million. That doesn't make sense for the Grizz IMO.

Just thought we'd revisit this proposed trade just updated. The pacers offer their 2011 first round pick for OJ Mayo. Straight up, the Pacers take on Mayo's contract (not saying it's a bad one) and the Grizzlies get a first.

When you are given a Mulligan in life it is best to accept it. In this instance the Mulligan is the deal falling apart and to say No Deal on selling Mayo low!

Vic - according to the Grizzlies GM in an interview today, there has been progress to signing Z'Bo to a long term contract. He would not go into specifics, but he said that both sides were happy with the framework of the deal that the Grizzlies offered.

In regards to a jersey, I would suggest either going through the official NBA store http://store.nba.com/home/index.jsp or finding a reputable dealer on eBay.com that ships internationally.
