Luol Deng is a smaller more athletic Turkoglu. I'd rather funnel Deng baseline to the Twin centers and stay solid and make him isolate rather than Rose.
Either way he used 17% of the teams possessions in the loss and 29% and 28.9% in the others where the Hawks played Twin Towers.
CJ Watson uses a higher number of possessions than Deng. This just yet again shows that Bulls have an extremely PG-iso-centric offense.
Either way if Smith cannot exploit/defend Deng then Williams will chase Deng off the 3 pt line and funnel him into bad shots he does not want to take.
Deng and Turkoglu are nothing alike. Deng attempts almost 6 field goals a game inside 10 feet while Turkoglu attempts less than 2. Plus Hedo in general is a garbage player who is washed up.
Watson plays very few minutes and is a chucker by nature so he likes to get his shots up quickly, thats more an indication of the Bulls personnel than the offensive system. The Bulls have very few good ball handlers. There is no shooting guard on the roster who can really initiate the offense and handle the ball. There are also no "point forward" players on the roster either.
