10 is ridiculous. Seriously, the amount of cry on this board is epic. You guys talk about how people are whiny, or soft, or whatever insult y ou can use against someone's manhood, but whenever something like this happens, you make it WAY worse.

Bynum was extremely frustrated, and got really stupid, he should be suspended a few games.

ANYTHING less than 10 games is ridiculous! If Artest did that to Derrick Rose, he would get 15 games. Plus Bynum has a history with blatant hard fouls. He could have ended JJ Barrea's career on that thuggish play.

If there happened to be a bed of nails where Barea landed, sure.

If you look closely at the replay. Barrea almost landed head first. He could have easily injured his spinal cord or suffer a massive head injury.

These tool laker fans... I think Bynum's face whilst extending his elbow outright as if he was a UFC fighter is a big indicator he was intending to HURT big time.... Barea could of easily spun enough to his left that he lands on his upper shoulder or worst case on his head.

Stern needs to set an example here.... its a perfect time to do so... Bynum has done it a few times... this one should be 15-20 games plus another 100K fine. And put him on automatic 2 tech game = suspension of 1 game and keep it for the whole season so he behaves.

There's a difference between a 7'1 280 pound center elbowing a 5'9 160 pound PG while he's in the air and what Wade did yesterday. I don't believe Wade meant to hurt Rondo (although it looked intentional), the injury came from Rondo landing awkwardly. Bynum's eblow was malicious and he tried to hurt him, plus he's been caught doing these cheap-shots before.

You can understand why he did it, but that doesnt make it right. He'll be punished with some suspensions but it will all be forgotten eventually. Even Jordan punched a teammate, but no one talks about that. Everyone is just reacting right now, they need time to cool their heads off.
