Bynum was extremely frustrated, and got really stupid, he should be suspended a few games.

ANYTHING less than 10 games is ridiculous! If Artest did that to Derrick Rose, he would get 15 games. Plus Bynum has a history with blatant hard fouls. He could have ended JJ Barrea's career on that thuggish play.

If there happened to be a bed of nails where Barea landed, sure.

You know people get paralyzed from falls in basketball games right? What makes you think Barea is immune?

If you look closely at the replay. Barrea almost landed head first. He could have easily injured his spinal cord or suffer a massive head injury.

And... I say it again.... Laker fans are the MOST hates fans globally.... unfortunately, its not all of you guys causing this hatred... but SOME.... SOME of you guys are fair... SOME are just complete homer, band wagon jumping, extremely biased tools.

Okay, let's NOT fine or suspend Bynum...

But next time he goes for a dunk someone should take his leg out hard enough so he spins 180 degrees vertically so he lands on his neck.... how would you feel now??

These tool laker fans... I think Bynum's face whilst extending his elbow outright as if he was a UFC fighter is a big indicator he was intending to HURT big time.... Barea could of easily spun enough to his left that he lands on his upper shoulder or worst case on his head.

Stern needs to set an example here.... its a perfect time to do so... Bynum has done it a few times... this one should be 15-20 games plus another 100K fine. And put him on automatic 2 tech game = suspension of 1 game and keep it for the whole season so he behaves.

You know they suspended him 2 games for the Beasley play right? You actually think they'll just increase it by one game "at most?" It's 3 games AT LEAST, and very possibly 10 games.

Amputate his right arm up to the elbow and call it a day, Rondo has proven that you can still play with one arm and by doing this it would prevent him from using his right arm in this manner again.

The ones that are overreacting over this are annoying. But the ones that are defending or saying its not that big of a deal, are b*tches themselves.

And to top it off: If your teamates have to apologize for you, then you pretty much are going to be the most disrespected and most punk'd player for the rest of your career. Shouldve said he was sorry.

let's agree on 8 games suspension without pay, deal? (imo, this dude should be banned from basketball and put to jail...)

25 games at least.

This **** won't be tolerated. Dude wasn't even going for the ball, and that it was a 30 point game at the time shows he really didn't do it to stop Barea from scoring.

Bynum is the new Garnett, picking on people about a foot smaller than him. I've yet to see him try someone his own size and the one time he tried to get tough on Shaq, Shaq forearmed him and Bynum didn't even look at Shaq in the eye.

He said himself after the game that he did it out of frustration.

"We were getting embarrassed, they were breaking us down. So I just fouled somebody," Bynum said after the game. "I was just kind of salty about being embarrassed. ... For me, it was embarrassing to have the smallest guy on the court keep running down the lane and making shots."

I don't believe Wade meant to hurt Rondo (although it looked intentional), the injury came from Rondo landing awkwardly. Bynum's eblow was malicious and he tried to hurt him, plus he's been caught doing these cheap-shots before.

true, it was cheap play but this is potentially much more dangerous play and with malicious intent

and taking that shirt off is kinda reminicent of LBJ last year lol, Howard in LAL next year anyone?

You can understand why he did it, but that doesnt make it right. He'll be punished with some suspensions but it will all be forgotten eventually. Even Jordan punched a teammate, but no one talks about that. Everyone is just reacting right now, they need time to cool their heads off.

In the 80's it would just be a message sending foul.

Today, it's a felonious act. My, how the league has changed.
