atribecalledrch wrote:Oh yea I forgot about that shyt lol. Their basing this off the formula of scaring people back into church. They know now that church is becoming a ghosttown and think these tactics can get people back in. It's pathetic. And no it's not a ad campaign lol. If it was it would be on television and radio. JJ would make it more legit than these arseholes are.

The guy who created this doomsday theory is actually on record as saying that God left the churches in 1988 and was replaced by Satan. I don't think he's trying to get people to go to church lol. I think he's just a nutty old man who really and truly believes this stuff for some reason. Its kind of scary. If you go on his website he says things like "now that the bible has revealed the date of the <Noah's> flood..." without ever giving any kind of insight into where it says that in the bible. The people who follow this guy are ridiculous. If they bothered to read the bible, they'd know that half the stuff his citing as being biblical doesn't exist.

Also, fun fact: The bible says that no even Jesus will know the time or date of Judgement day. So Jesus doesn't know but Harold Camping does? Bit presumptuous, no?

Super 8 is the Prequel to Cloverfield if you didn't know already

I'm pretty sure that was just a rumor and it was rebunked.

The fact that they stopped saving for their kids' college is the worst part.

I wonder how many dudes have had success with those teenage girls, when using that line from the movie "The invention of lying;" you know the part when the guys walks up to the girl and says, " You have to have sex with me right now, or the world is going to end."

lol none of them. Thier leader will tell them that it was a miscalculation and tell them that this was a test and that the real thing will happen in the near future. A new doomsday date soon to come. Maybe he'll use the 2012 date that others have forcast as well next.

I wonder what excuses they'll be using to lie to themselves on Sunday when they're putting those t-shirts in the bin.

Also, there is some definate inbreeding going on in that family.

Still want to see Fast Five. Last time i went to the movies it was sold out, and I ended up having to watch Bridesmaids  It was however, a very funny movie. I did not expect to laugh that much from watching it.

Both movies (Fast5 & Bridesmaids) are awesome. They cast both well.

I think Doomsday is preferrable to the Heat winning the title.

I saw Pirates of Caribbean 4 today and walked half way out of the movie. The 50% of the movie I saw, I would give it a 1 out of 5 :-? . A lot of unnecessary sword fights.

I want my 4 dollars back (matinee show) and 1.5 hours that I wasted.

Why walk out in the middle of a movie? That makes no sense at all.
