How are they mistakes? If we were really going to be a stickler about time/days, we wouldn't be playing games that last a month long. We'd drag them out much longer.

NYK accepts. We really don't like to lose the MVP of the league, but we do cut Outlaw's contract. Ellis is the most underrated 25ppg scorer (in my mind) and he can provide the scoring lost by Rose. The other 2 (Lee and Wright) will be dealt shortly.

We lose 3 starters in the process, but we gain the MVP of the league. Although this trade created a log jam at PG, its not a bad problem to have. Plus, we think Outlaw can have some sort of a "renaissance" in our team as a 6th man because he played that role back in Portland, he's one year removed from an injury(last year was the year AFTER the injury) so he'll probably bounce back and surprisingly, just 27 years old so he fits our "young,veteran" team

However, we can't leave out that sweet mid-range game he's bringing to Mo-Town..it's Karl Malone-like and we hope his clutchness in late game situations nets many wins in our favor this year.
