How are they mistakes? If we were really going to be a stickler about time/days, we wouldn't be playing games that last a month long. We'd drag them out much longer.

Total: 26,433,000

Travis Outlaw ($7,000,000)
Bill Walker ($916,100)
Andres Nocioni ($6,650,000)

Total: 21,559,808 * 1.25 = 26,999,760

Deal works!

NYK accepts. We really don't like to lose the MVP of the league, but we do cut Outlaw's contract. Ellis is the most underrated 25ppg scorer (in my mind) and he can provide the scoring lost by Rose. The other 2 (Lee and Wright) will be dealt shortly.

We lose 3 starters in the process, but we gain the MVP of the league. Although this trade created a log jam at PG, its not a bad problem to have. Plus, we think Outlaw can have some sort of a "renaissance" in our team as a 6th man because he played that role back in Portland, he's one year removed from an injury(last year was the year AFTER the injury) so he'll probably bounce back and surprisingly, just 27 years old so he fits our "young, veteran" team

Dallas, Portland and Houston have a trade:

Portland trades: Tony Parker($12,500,000)
receives: Andre Miller($7,807,728)

Houston trades: Brad Miller($4,752,000) + Leandro Barbosa($7,600,000) = $12,352,000
receives: Marcus Camby($12,866,332) + Jason Kidd($8,610,500) = $21,476,832
**houston has capsapce to absorb the difference**

Dallas trades: Marcus Camby($12,866,332) + Jason Kidd($8,610,500) + Andre Miller($7,807,728) = $29,284,560
receives: Brad Miller($4,752,000) + Tony Parker($12,500,000) + Leandro Barbosa($7,600,000) = $24,672,000

Dallas accepts. We feel that we gain a really nice PG in Tony Parker that will bring our team to another level, and we gain a little bit more finacial flexibility as we have a lot of money tied up right now.

Houston accepts. Our capspace is around 20+m. Just for reference we got capspace when we dealt Millsap for draft pick. We are going young but getting 2 playing vets to guide the team is solid help. Better leaders as well.

MIL has emailed me and asked me to post this deal with ORL

Ilysova,Sanders,2013 2nd roudner for Duhon,Anderson

Ilysova shoots lights out from deep and can play the sf and pf
Sanders is verrryy athletic and is a good prospect

I am sure ORL will post specifics, but MIL does accept the deal I quoted!

Please rework the

The Pistons and Hornets agree to a deal

Pistons outgoing:

Richard Hamilton: 12,500,000
2013 1st rd pick
Total salaries: 12,500,000

Pistons incoming:

David West: 7,525,000
David Andersen: 3,356,481
Total salaries = 10,881,481

Hornets outgoing:

David West: 7,525,000
David Andersen: 3,356,481
Total salaries: = 10,881,481

Hornets incoming:

Richard Hamilton: 12,500,000
2013 1st rd pick
Total salaries: 12,500,000

Pistons accept. We will truly miss the last of the championship Pistons, but now, we--the Pistons--will go forward with our progression toward winning basketball. We welcome David West with open arms. He's a tough guy who doesn't get the credit for it. He's got the rap for being a finesse guy, but little know that he made it to three Atlantic 10 1st team defensive teams as well as being rewarded with an Atlantic 10 Defensive Player Of The Year Award as well. Long story short, D-West can and will play some defense. However, we can't leave out that sweet mid-range game he's bringing to Mo-Town..it's Karl Malone-like and we hope his clutchness in late game situations nets many wins in our favor this year. We'd also like to welcome David Andersen to Detroit. Thanks.

The Hornets agree to this deal because we get a veteran at SG in Rip to help in Thompson's development.

this isn't the place for it... but i'll add to it. these trades have to be approved or denied in this thread. some of us are waiting to update our rosters still and i've beed getting offers for Andre Miller, even though the draft board is updated to reflect that he's been traded. SamBone, your corrections help us learn. i never really knew when (in these games) Chris Bosh's TPE expires, now i do. don't worry about hurt feelings here, everybody knowing the rules (or the basis of the rules...) makes for a better game. if anyone wants to reply to this let's bring it back to the discussion board.

Sorry, all trades before the Tony Parker trade are approved, except for the James Posey-TPE deal.

Philly and Toronto have agreed to a S&T

Philly sends
S.Hawes [signs a 3 year contract of $3.5m/$4m/$4m(to)]

Tor sends
2013 TOR 1st
2015 TOR 1st (top 3 protected)

We hate to lose our starting center that helped lead us into the playoffs last season, but with the additions of Meka and Kanter, we just don't have the minutes for Hawes to continue to develop. The future picks may help, only time will tell

Toronto accepts. Well, we definitely have the minutes for now. We don't quite think that Solomon Alabi is ready to play a full 48 minutes. Welcome aboard Spencer, we expect rebounding and tough defense.

Clevelad Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons have agreed on the following trade:

Detroit Pistons receive:
PG Jordan Farmer ($4,000,000)
PF Louis Amundson ($2,403,000)

Cleveland Cavaliers receive:
F James Posey ($7,595,600)
2012 1st RND (Top 8 Protected in 2012, Unprotected in next available draft)

Cleveland accepts this deal. This deal works because Posey's salary is less than outgoing salary x 125%+$100k.

San Antonio and Charlotte have agreed on a trade:

Boris Diaw ($9,000,000)
Stephen Jackson ($9,256,500)
Desagna Diop ($6,925,400)

Total = $25,181,900

for

Rashard Lewis ($21,136,631)
George Hill ($1,390,906)
Dejuan Blair ($986,000)
SA 2012 1st

Total = $23,513,537 x 1.25 = $29,391,921

Spurs accept. We get a great 3rd option in SJax, a decent sized expiring in Diaw, and a franchise center in Diop. Losing solid youth sucks, but it was worth it to move Shard's contract.
