not bad but I don't think Clev will go for it. they value Varajeo more than they should. but they value him more than that.

Why on earth would we cut CHI in? If CLE would do a Marvin for Varejao swap, then CHI should (and would) get left in the cold...

Regardless of whether you think Cleveland overvalues Varejao, there's no doubt that a Marvin for Varejao deal is terrible for Cleveland. Varejao earned 2nd team All Defense and is a player who adds much more than just stats. Meanwhile Williams has been a mediocre wing and overall large disappointment in the NBA.

Because we save 2 MIL this way and Asik will be much cheaper and a lot more valuable than Varajeo in a few years...
ATL to add a first to CLE who might have to add a 2nd to CHI
To answer the last question Marv has been underused in ATL and show me who is playing SF in CLE...hence the target: cap and need at the position. In this context Marvin could surprise many. People in CLE remember the good defensive job he did on LeBron or even on Pierce a few years ago...

You'd have to tie a pork chop around Marvin's neck to get the dog to play with him. The equivalent in basketball terms is bundling a couple 1st round picks just to get someone to take him off our hands. You think he's worth a serviceable backup PG and a young C prospect that plays good D. Marvin would have had to live up to Billy Knight's expectations to be worth that much in trade.
