I do not think that we are interested in Biyombo for several reasons.
1. We seem to be very interested in Vucevic even though we have a very large chance of Biyombo being there.
2. If we are looking to trade down. Then the player that we would be allowing teams to jump and take would be Biyombo at 9. Otherwise nobody would want to trade up all the way to 9.
3. He seems like to much of a risk for this team in general. He has no offense and his age is of question.
4. Jordan is in love with Kemba.
Also, I do not think it is Singleton because who ahead of us have expressed interest in him. We seem to be the first team that is considering him and many teams like Kawhi ahead of him.
I think if Kemba and Kawhi are gone before 9 then we trade back with Houston and they grab Biyombo at 9. That Leaves Milwaukee, GS, Utah, and Phoenix before the 14th pick. The main players who would get consideration in this range would be most likely Tristan Thompson, Klay Thompson, Jimmer Fredette, Burks, Brooks, Singleton, Hamilton, Twin 1, Vucevic, and Shumpert. Milwaukees options are Twin 1, Both Thompsons and Burks. Golden State would most likely take Klay if he is available. Utah depending on who they take with first pick could go Jimmer or Singleton. Phoenix most likely go with Jimmer, Shumpert, Tristan or Twin 1. So four players will go after Biyombo is selected and we pick. So worst case scenario would be Klay, Singleton, Burks and Twin 1 are picked. If this did happen we would still be left with Vucevic,Brooks and Hamilton at 14 and hope some good players are available at 19 and 23. Possibly one of those three we dont pick at 14. Honeycutt, Motijunas, and Tobias Harris would be some guys to hope are there for later picks possibly. Then again that is probably the worst case scenario for the trade down.
Best Case would be something like this:
14- Klay or Singleton
19-Vucevic or Hamilton or Brooks
23-Honeycutt or Motijunas.
39-BPA
