I feel sorry for Le Doug. Totally used by the Colangelo and his boys again.

To be fair, he also said JV was on our board but didn't expect him to be available.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

I don't think anyone was sure Val would drop, you guys are just way to hard on Doug.

Since when does Weems bring any kind of defense to the court anyway?

Are you just disregarding him breaking the Jay firing story? Draft Express, Chad Ford, etc, nobody that I read had Jonas going to us. Why single Doug out for abuse?

I think BC has confirmed that he would have taken Bismack had Jonas not been available.

Hi Doug. (or Eric)

Doug himself had Jonas in our top 4, suggesting he was a possibility. MANY had him as a possibility until the 2-3 days before the draft.

ALl that said, no one cares that Doug got it wrong. Its the condescending attitude.

Because Doug has been dead wrong 9.9999 times out of 10 his entire reporting career.

It was assumed already that Jonas Val was going no. 4 to the Cavs. Not that many people thought TT was going there instead. Its no different from last year when Ed Davis slipped and we picked him up. YES this can be considered a steal as well people.

You okay J-Roc? That was almost a supportive, optimistic post involving yourself, BC and the Toronto Raptors. I have not seen a post like this in over a year...

Plus Raps not running off to the mouth with media about Val, meant that teams didn't know who they'd need to talk to to trade with that wanted him. Teams like Rockets and Spurs, may have thought they had a chance making a move at 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, but no knowing how far he'd slide may have prevented them from being more aggressive for thinking they could nab him later. Heck, Cleveland may have even thought they could get him later.

Stressed out. Started a new job a month ago and I'm starting to burn out. This must be what it's like being on a period. Emotional ups and downs.
