I posted the articles because I read one, one day, and found the other article the next. So It seemed kinda random that two different people would write about the same thing. I also posted it because in the first link, first sentence posted it said "Before the lockout, the Lakers informed Bryant, one of the game’s great players, he was no longer the team's undisputed top dog. Bryant was then informed he’d share this role with Andrew Bynum." That part didnt sound like an opinion, it came off as he was actually told that. But like I said. We can go ahead and lock this up.
Big game, the topic is worth discussing especially since there isn't much to discuss these days, but you have to be mindful of what the writer says and not just how he says it. he stated that as fact, but is there any proof?
Did the Lakers sit Kobe down and told him he is going to share the top dog position with Drew or did the Lakers hire Mike brown a defensive coach at Kobe's behest. which of those statements can be proved and which is an opinion?
If the article was based on facts it would be the kind of news that the major writers (plaskey, Ding, Wojo, etc) would write about and would be all over ESPN. Oly Sander clearly draws his conclusions out of speculations and opinions, but even the tittle of the article starts with the word "RUMOR".
