What is this? His wsper48? So he was more athletic in 2010-2011 than he was every year prior to 09-10'? More clueless stat usage and darned pathetic tap dance obfuscations. I thought he was too heavy in 10-11, how was fat Smoove outperforming skinny and younger Smoove?
You try to be Mr. Analytical when it comes to tearing down Al and all his superior advance metrics but here you are with anecdotal, excuse making nonsense to explain away Josh Smith's game.
His winshares every year prior to 09-10 are low because he took an ass load of jumpers with zero ability to hit them.
His winshares increased in 09-10 because he dropped the jumper from his arsenal and decided to stay inside.
His winshares decreased in 10-11 because he went back to basing his offense predominantly on jumpers but this time stayed above his career average WSper48 because he finally managed to actually hit them at a decent rate.
There is absolutely nowhere to infer "athleticism" and weight from that stat so you are pure bull **** which isn't surprising considering the source. Your entire evidence for your theory has been debunked, any further mention on it is pure opinion on your part with no true factual basis.
Well the coach said this also:He has to be flying around and blocking shots
RE: Athletic defense and might be helped by a lower weight. He was at 3.5% in 2009.
Your preliminary excuse for 08-09 was the high ankle sprain but alas in his career year of 09-10 he was still below his career average at only 4.6% What's the excuse? I thought the lost weight made him a super athlete?and running the floor
RE: transition off of defensive steals. Nothing to do with halfcourt.
That's your interpretation but it easily can attributed to not being stationary at the 3point line in the halfcourt. You know, in context with the rest of his statement.
and making passes. That’s when he’s at his best for us.
RE: Making passes ie off the dribble with his perimeter skills.
yet another personal interpretation. What, he can't make passes from the post now?
Well that sounds like it's clearly not part of the scheme to have him out there and thus an action taken solely on the part of the player. We can’t have him just sitting out there and launching 3s, because that plays into the opposition’s hands.
Really? thats a heck of a spin.
No, BooBoo. The only spin going on here is you and how you choose to interpret the evidence presented to you. Larry Drew said I don't want him out there- Ruhiel's intepretation: Hell yea he wants him out there because Horf is hogging the ball, Qwyntel Woods!!!! Blah blah blah blah blah blah. I told you already that I got a Swiss army bull **** cutting knife so I need not spend anytime on your obfuscation tactics, strawmen, tangents and anecdotal musings.
