Yeah, I agree.
That being said, I think that if we get a good pitching performance by Clippard tommorow, we'll win. John Maine sucks and I expect the Yankees to hit him hard. The Yankees showed signs out of breaking out of their slumps, and I expect them to just kill Maine tommorow.

Maine is pretty damn good. I thought he was even pretty solid as an Oriole. You may not think he is too good but based on what he has done this year, there is little reason to EXPECT a win tomorrow going against a guy making his major league debut.

bahh ... cmaff just doesn't like him because Maine's best pitch is his fastball although this year his secondary pitches has been better. I doubt cmaff has ever seen him, maybe he saw him when he was an Oriole.nykgeneralmanager wrote:-= original quote snipped =-

Anyways, this was a good game. The Yankees will obviously turn it around ... hopefully for my Mets once Mota comes back from his suspension Willie demotes Blowenweiss instead of Ambiriox Burgos.
Looking foward to that kid Clippard tomorrow ... by the way cmaff hypes him he must be a very good pitching prospect.
He has a fastball and that's it. His command is awful too.
