Would be great imo.

For him.

At a cheap rate, a veteran big scorer would be a great mentor for DJ White, Derrick Brown, Mullens, and if we take a big offensive threat with our draft pick.

Catching some Wizards-Magic action before our game sets off. Returning to the subject of Washington, I have to say that their offense is pathetic. Basically every half-court play ends up with someone going 1 on 1 against his defender and throwing up a bad shot.

I even have some of them on my fantasy team - McGee's numbers have been good. Wall has been disappointing though, at least he racks up stats in every category.

steph curry rolled his ankle AGAIN...... 3rd time this year...... same one he just had surgery on because he rolled it so many times last year. you have to start wondering if this chronic problem is going to derail his career. he might just need to shut it down for a few months now. he cant keep playing through these things.

He went to Nike headquarters to get it looked at and ended up with a new pair of shoes. Looks like it didn't help much

So here's two random Tyler Hansbrough stats for ya...

The guy had a +/- of -43 against the Heat tonight and in over 170 minutes of play through his first six games, he has yet to record an assist.

I agree, I think Jamison on a cheap deal as a vet leader would be amazing for us.

Kyle Lowry is looking like the (fantasy) steal of the draft. I got him 39th overall and 12th PG.

I didn't know he was such a black hole...

I don't quite get the "sign an aging player for a logjammed position taking even more players from developing players so they can supposedly be mentored by that aging player as that surely helps them more than playing time, right?" thing. I don't even now Jamison being a horrible defender is a good thing or not (he can mentor his bad defense but we could tank at the same time), I just think signing him for more than one year would be criminal considering our cap situation and signing him for one year doesn't make sense to me. I would rather showcase Tyrus if not anything else. I mean if an aging player comes to rebuilding team via trade pursuing other goals as well, than ok I guess. Signing one as an FA, when such a player would expect minutes doesn't seem smart to me. Ok, Jamison could put some people in to seat I guess.

Let Cpt. Maggette do the mentoring

I agree. I have McGee too. He is a wild one in percentage sometimes but steady in blocks and quite consistent in minutes, rebound, points (not a big contributor though).

They are clueless on defensive end too which makes it even worse. I am wondering how Drummond would help them as Blatche and McGee are unlikely to get it.

Damn, how about Crash's performance!? I love the way Portland still manages to be a juggernaut in the Western conference after all they've been through. Rose Garden still is one of the toughest places to win on the road in whole league.

Wallace has been great for the Blazers all season. He only had one bad game in LA against the Clips, but otherwise has been great. Even in games where his stats might not show it, his defense is HUGE. He only had like 13pts in a win at OKC earlier this week, but he completely shut down Kevin Durant who had an awful game, and it was nearly all due to Crash's defense.

I saw "Green" in the espn box score snap shot for SA's leading scorer and couldnt for the life of me figure out who the hell it was until I clicked on it.

I was reminded of the time I opened the observer sports section in the late 90's to peruse box scores and saw that Tony Delk scored 52 for the Suns. I didnt have internet access at the time and chaulked it up to being a typo

53, against the Kings.

Tony Delk was one of my favorite players as a kid. I would play NBA Live 97 as the Hornets and the dude would beast off the bench. When I got older and really started to watch the games, I always looked out for him.

Underrated player imo.

Tony Delk's handles were criminally underrated.

The best thing about that Tony Delk game is that he didn't give out a single assist. I think only Kobe and Darius Miles have scored more points in a game without passing the ball.
