2- i'm also worried about norris cole jacking shots. chalmers has been outplaying him the last few games.

Lebron is set to disappear in the Finals all over again

but Cole will shoot us out of the Finals first.

Night and day between this year's team and last year.
The bench has the energy that was lacking last year with Harris, Batier, Cole, Pitt, Haslem etc, and would have made this game a frustrating close game.
Easy win..on to the next game.

LeBron is truly gifted... Even when he's playing bad you look at this stats and you're like wait WHAT? :o

I DON'T CARE about stats - his stats couldn't help us when we needed them in the finals last year. I'm am not ranking on LBJ, just don't want U to get too hyped and overlook the things that can cost us a game or 2.

Good win.

1. Bosh needs to stay assertive on the boards, even in games that don't matter. I can't fault him though, given the minutes he put in the last game.

2. Bron didn't give a **** in the second half. Was probably playing for a triple-double since the game was pretty much in hand. But that first quarter, he looked smooth again. Hopefully he watches tape regularly and sees how much he beasted on Stevenson in the post. Needed that in the Finals last year.

3. Cole came out gunning, but cooled it down to look smooth as a playmaker. He's better in transition than the halfcourt right now. I think he needs to penetrate with the same intensity and timing as when he wants to score, but with the intent on passing. Another rookie game, but he still got dimes and adjusted his game more to facilitating. He needs to maintain a good balance of scoring and passing from here on out.

4. Harris looked more human today. Still, he's a good wing to have in the mix.

5. Pittman needs more minutes. He also needs more conditioning. I hope this offseason he goes on the Perkins-Love diet and comes back chiseled and beastly. But for now, he deserves minutes. Even a foul machine like him needs them to adjust to the speed of the game. He can be an asset. I think Spo sees this. He does need to hold on to the ball more though. He gets his hands on a lot of rebounds, but doesn't control them.

6. Zone? LOL! What zone? You can tell from where Haslem was standing that we're not likely to fall for a zone again. They must have fit some practice into their shootarounds, We looked efficient on offense again...while everyone gave a ****, that is.

8-1, baby! This isn't your 9-8 Heat. This team is serious. That Hawks loss looks like a fluke now. Hopefully Wade is well for the coming games and we wreck house. PEACE.

I'm just disappointed he didn't even try to post up in the 4th. That's the only thing we haven't seen yet, going to LeBron in the post in a close game late. That would prove he's really comfortable with it, and its truly a weapon, not just something he can toy with early in games.

Last nights game was more exciting, we have some minor issues that can be fixed.

It is my opinion that when LBJ controls the ball on a fast break, good things happen, when LBJ brings the ball up WITH either chalmers or Cole in the game, good things don't always happen.

LBJ does not need to control the majority of the offensive possessions, when he controls the ball, I notice the other players take longer to get involved offensively. He sometimes slows the offense down and/or makes the other players stagnant.

having LBJ controlling the offense WITH one of our PG's on the floor, is like constantly firing an "AK47" when we are winning with a 38 special. Just because you have the AK47, doesn't mean you need to use it every possession, those sharpshooting 38 special plays are pretty dangerous also.

There are times when we DO NEED that AK47(4th qtr of the finals or close games) comes to mind, and by all means, lock and load with your big 3 guns.

But tonight against the nets with a double digit lead in the 4th qtr - we probably could have gotten by with some sharp shooters(Bosh and the boys).

It is a bit disturbing he shoots for 10 points in 3 quarters, though he racked up his assists of course. I don't think he cares but just to get a win. And stat pad

I'm sure it would have been different if the game was close

but when he pounds the ball for 20 seconds... I cry a little.

Looking for a triple double is part of the reason he had 8 turnovers tonight. Had he been more aggressive and not looked to pass, he probably wouldn't have had so many bad passes
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

LeBron played great coming back from his ankle injury. Came out completely on fire. The team again to seem to lose their game plan once the Nets switched to the zone, but we were still able to score, so they're figuring it out. I just feel the team gets way to complacent with leads, and tends to let the other team back into the game for no reason. I also noticed a lot tonight LeBron just standing there but who knows if its part of the play, sometimes it gets annoying that he doesn't try and get involved in the play.

Hey guys, just got back from a long hiatus, what with the lockout and uni to study for and all that jazz, this comment doesn't pertain specifically to this game but i figured it was as good a place to post as any.

I really like what I'm seeing offensively this year, especially LeBron getting in the post more and actually making the most of our biggest advantage, our athleticism, by pushing the ball and forcing the issue, if a little to hard at time. In general our offense has come along in leaps and bounds, and while still not as consistent as I'm sure many of us world like in the half court set, we have at least proven we have some semblance of structure to fall back on.

Defensively, however, we have been lackluster at best. At times last season our defense was smothering for long periods if time, and while there has been glimpses of that this season there just seems to be a lack of effort, determination and fire consistently defensively. It may be my defensive mindset, but this really perturbs me, especially when I see guys generally being lazy, cheating on rotations and over helping on 3 point shooters. That last issue is a fundamental one with our defensive philosophy and is one I believe needs addressing as come the playoffs I don't want to be living and dying of the 3 ball percentage of the other team with the current state of affairs.

These are just a few thoughts from the games I've seen and will hopefully get into some more posting in the near future.

Cheers.

We're statistically speaking doing far better defensively this season than last. We're posting a 96.3 DRTG compared to last years 103.5 (Although the league average in D is far better than last year) We've also gone from 5th to 2nd best so even when looking league wide we're still doing better.

Speaking to this only... Why not? It's a 7 game series. You have to give up something. I'd rather give up the 3 point shot than anything down low. In our one loss Atlanta went 9-16 from 3 and beat us. Small sample size skews number and without that game opponents are shooting 35.4% against us from 3.
