Westbrook I'm all for inserting him @ SG, though I see him in the same light as Evans - not a perfect fit w/ Rubio. Ideal SG is someone that can take advantage of open kickouts on the perimeter when rotations are slow an can beat his man when the defender is there. Kevin Martin can handle the kickouts, but can't create, Westbrook and Evans can create, but can't catch and shoot. Harden is the perfect fit, but the Wolves have no shot, even if Williams is on the table, that I'm sure of. On that note, if we're going to go after an imperfect fit, I think Kevin Martin is the best fit considering age/value - that's assuming we could get him w/o trading Williams, but Morey might not be ready to do something like that, but if picks/johnson/beasley/ridnour etc can get it done, thats my #1 choice. Westbrook/Evans are both going to be hard to get w/o sending Williams in the deal, and I'm not sure thats a better fit, Williams has shown he has a dagger 3. Trading that for a creator is filling one hole by creating another.
i wonder if at some point Houston reverses it's philosophy and starts tanking. In that scenario I could see us landing Martin for Beasley or Wes and our picks. I'd really like a Martin/Batum combo on the wings. With Rubio's impressive defense thus far, Martin doesn't seem like such of a liability at that end any more.
anything out of this guy's mouth makes absolutely no sense to me. you must be one of those liberal democrats that is going to vote for Obama. you're obviously a beaurocrat that depends on hard working americans like myself to buy your overpriced cheeses and meats...long live free trade and capitalism.
