Its REALLY unlikely the Magic are going to trade Dwight anywhere at this point...
Besides... Lakers have no leverage anyways... Something I don't understand when people say they're the ONLY team he can go to. They don't have the cap space, and they don't really have the players the Magic want to rebuild in the future.
The Clippers on the other hand have A LOT of leverage. They got the tradeable young players (Outside of Giffin and Paul, those guys aren't getting traded). They've go the younger core in which Dwight would be appealed to go to. And on top of that, they have the cap space to go after him this off-season.
If he wanted to, he can opt out and sign with them if he wanted to.
So I mean the only way the Magic could get anything in return, is if they do a sign and trade in which the got Beldsoe and Jordan.
Not a good trade. But it would salvage them....
