We already heard about Biyombo's amazing rate of improvement but damn... this is really incredible!
Congratulations on your draft pick! Please play him

Can anyone explain why not?
True dat. He was at the head of my draft board before we traded up for Biz.fatlever wrote:fatlever wrote:for the record, i was asking brooks vs kemba, even though i would still take kemba. scoring sgs, unless they are playmakers or deadeye 3pt shooters are rarely more valuable than a solid pg.
of course i am banking on kemba being able to play pg at some point.
that being said, its painfully obvious that brooks was grossly underrated on draft day. no way he should have dropped to 25.

Its baffling how teams ignore a player like Brooks. He man handles everyone he faces in pre draft workouts but then gets flack for being too old (i.e. 22) and passed over for lesser players.
Bass and I were both big advocates for selecting him with our first pick before we traded into the top 10, then taking vucevik, jordan hamilton or BPA with the second pick.
I think when its all said and done, Brooks will have had a better career at the 2 spot then Hendo.
