You never wanna give up on a game, but I give this thing 2 more minutes and if we haven't cut into the score much, go ahead and concede defeat because we have to go to Chicago tomorrow night.

Perimeter defense is so scared of the three it's letting guys get by.

I'm willing to throw in the towel ha. They looked like they'd given up when Orlando went on their run. That's why I was amazed Granger ended the drought and Collison burned it down the floor to score 4 in a row. The only reason that happened though was because Redick missed a wide open 3. The Magic's ball movement has made the Pacers defense look like trash. They were able to make two-three passes and get wide open just about every time for a three. That's gotta be fixed because it was horrible

While, yes, the Pacers did not play well, when Orlando shoots the way they have, especially from midway through the second quarter on, not much you can do about that. A handful of these threes have been fairly contested, they just caught fire.

Bounce-back against Chicago tomorrow night.

Shaw at halftime said the Pacers needed to push the ball and get shots before the defense is set.
While I don't at all mind getting some quickies (if they're napping) I thought that his take was just the wrong approach.

I've rarely seen us look sharp playing that way. Most ofen the D does get back and a young team can find switching gears and being patient hard to do.

Pace in general is hard for us.

Rush back on D-
Work the ball on O (inside out when possible)-
is our best bet.

Coach has hopefully learned a few things out of this match.

- you don't want Paul George chasing down dwarfs over several screens
he is so much better one on one and putting pressure on the ballhandler
- when Hibbert is tired, take him out
he cost us a few easy buckets

And I hope Bird has seen what I have seen

- we need a guy who can create and generate double teams before they can trap one of our guys with a double team
- if teams offer the max for a player who gives up easy layups like that (I count 7), I would let them
