Blatche on Mason's advice:
He said, "When life gives you lemons, order a pizza and maybe some wings and some crazy bread," or something like that.

Anyone check out what faked Blatche has to say on Twitter? That guy surely has some gems.

Remember that children's coloring book featuring Blatche talking about nutritious eating?

The short season could be a blessing for the Wiz in their efforts to trade Blatche. If he comes back before the trade deadline (March 15th) and shows he's somewhat fit, there are going to be teams with injury problems caused by la shedule de brutal. We've already seen major players around the NBA showing signs of fatigue - it's only going to get worse - and depth is going to be at a premium.

This time off may be great, or it could turn out a complete disaster. He may comeback even more sloppy and out of shape.

The FO better be on his ass daily.

Has anybody seen or heard anything about Blatche? How is that "strained calf" coming along? He was out for "3-5 weeks" starting on January 30th, so his first day back could be as early as this Monday.

Shhhh!

Maybe they just forgot about him. He could still be locked on the roof of that hotel in Vegas, all sun-burned and dehydrated. No one has a wedding to get to, so just leave him be.

Wiz need him back desperately. His absence is ruining the tank.

I find myself very conflicted. The tank is definitely missing it's captain but at the same time i can't stand watching him play.

I am hoping that the teams lack of scoring and general cluelessness will be enough to ensure a successful tank operation without Captain Suck.

He's needed - he puts the sub in our submarine dive.

Balche will go down in history with Patton and Rommel as one of the great tank commanders.

I actually think he can help us if he is utilized solely as our backup center. He's better than Seraphin or an out-of-position Booker at that spot. Just keep a quick hook ready to discipline the sense of entitlement out of him. Bench every time he makes a selfish or lazy play.

If Blatche didn't make selfish or lazy plays then he wouldn't be Blatche, he would be someone else. You might as well ask a fish to stop swimming.

Blatche's idea of help D is to stand around and watch while someone gets an uncontested dunk. That isn't what i want at center, the last line of defense.
