I can't wait to see Barnes in the tourney, hope he's as clutched as last year bringing the game back when they're down by 10, score game-winning shots and scoring 40 points (doubt he can do that again but that game was insane). I'm getting bored of these inferior competitions right now...just a month and abit more, March Madness baby! We get to see what these lottery prospects can do. And I have a feeling Davis and MKG would lead their team to the final 4.
Don't count too much on the tourney. Round 1 is a cupcake, round 2 is usually a good team but sill an 8-9 seed, and by the time round round comes around anything can happen.
UK and UNC have had weak conference schedules to date in not too deep conferences - but their schedules are back ended. UK still has Florida twice, Vandy twice, and at Miss St, and the SEC tourney. UNC still has Duke twice, and I assume a game or two still agianst Virginia and or Florida St.- also add the ACC tourney.
Even UConn is back ended, with Syracuse and Louisville both on the sched two more times -- and then of course the Big East tourney which is an amazzing event.
Point being there are many good matchups before the tourney, that will be better then anything these teams face until the in the round of 64 or even 32. But I agree, what they have faced in January is underwhelming.
