Actually, I'd first send Young to NJ for Morrow and the future protect HOU first. We keep Morrow and give the pick to CHA instead. Then I trade Lewis to GSW for Biedrins+Wright and a future pick. Rebuild done.
Biedrins/Vesely
Davis/Booker
Wright/Singleton
MKG/Morrow
Wall/Mack
And we'd still have the cap space to sign a veteran backup PG and/or C if we wanted to.
Rebuid done? You're kidding right. That lineup has some problems particularly on the offensive side of ball. First off, MKG is not a SG. He doesn't have a long range jumper let alone a mid range jumper yet. If we expect to take MKG, he will slot in at SF, and we will need to add a PF and SG that can both shoot. Second, what has Biedrins done the past 3 years but miss a lot of games. Are you sure you want to bank our C position on him for the next 2 years at $9m per. At least lets try to upgrade from McGee not go the other way. Third, I don't see a many points coming from that front line of Davis/Biedrins. I don't see many easy baskets from the half court offensive set as neither have enough skill yet to be a stud low post threat. Davis will need a few years at least to be impact on offensive side. Where will we get our points? Essentially, Wright is our only shooter in that starting lineup. No different than this year with Young. And basically we'd be going into next year with no proven scorer who has averaged more than 16 pts. Thats dangerous and I just don't get that this completes are rebuild. If we're looking to tank again next year and possible lose Wall in process, than maybe I can see it.
