Tyson has not been known for offense his entire career. Yet he has done nicely for us offensively this year. Jefferies has looked better offensively with the addition of Lin. Novak has been lights out for us. He had a bad shooting night tonight.

Amare on the other hand.... has been AWFUL on defense both last year and this year. All season long. And his bad defense causes Chandler to get cheap fouls, gets us into the penalty faster, and lets teams go on runs.

Sorry if you like him, I do too. Seems like a nice guy. But we aren't winning anything with him. And his loss of athleticism and explosiveness only compounds his ineptitude defensively. .8 blocks ?? Really ?? We HAVE TO look to trade Amare or we're basically wasting time.

You gotta wonder where this team would be without Amare...real talk. They were peaking at 29 wins...he had em at 23 by the ASG and that was in the midst of a losing streak. His defense is very suspect at times...but the truth is...it isnt absolutely terrible...he actually plays better on the ball. Its when he's off the ball that his lack of awareness shows. Which, having played in one system that did not stress defense his entire career, you cant really blame him. He was top 5-10 in bpg last season before the trade. It is very obvious the lack of offensive flow has slowed a lot of our team down so far this season...Amare happening to be one of them.

When Amare tries, he picks up fouls, which is a clear sign of not knowing how.
