I think we might still squeak into the second round, but honestly we should blow up this core, even if it means we have to package Josh with Joe Johnson for cap flexibility and even a single good young prospect.

First, we need to find out why we're so dead out there. With Joe out, any "ego players" we have should have taken this as their call to shine. Any "team first" guys should have stood up to work harder. Any "show me the money" guys should have seen a chance to pad their stats. Instead ... nothing. We just trudge downcourt.

It's amazing that we just sleep-walk through games. Nobody moved fast, even our speedy PG. It's as if they're suffering through their very own Bataan Death March ... or they're condemned men walking to the electric chair.

I am all for going after guys when they deserve it, but who was out there sleep walking? They made 2 runs during this game, got it down from 30 to 15 and 27 to 13. I actually cut them a little slack for this considering the circumstances. Was it winnable yes, everyone is, but I don't think they were sleep walking or laid down.

I'll post wherever I please, thank you very much.

I don't think this team has any real leadership. Even when we were making runs, I never got the sense that the energy level was increasing, or that anyone was stepping up. I merely got the impression that some shots were finally falling.

Josh is a bad leader because he's kind of pouty and alternates between playing with contagious energy and playing with contagious nonchalance.
Joe is a bad leader because he's just really quiet and just doesn't demonstrate any leadership traits.
Al is a bad leader because he'll play with energy, but at the same time seems to often be scared to try to take over a game.
Teague is too young/hesitant to demand the team play with energy.
T-Mac is too old to lead. Guys might respect him, but I don't think he can really rally them.
Marvin... I don't think I need to talk about him.

I see you will post what you please and you have done that over 4000 times with non of them making any sense. You are a lame. Anyone falling in love with Lin is a lame that allows the national media into your life and thought process way too easily, and if you are that easily swayed to side with them against a team you post about often you are a lame troll.

for real, Kirk is a cancer. Hawks and Knicks, even without Joe had a good back and forth going, before lame ahss Kirk came in and the turn over explosion happen, with his ball hogging and over dribbling.

Horford is the least important of the big three, but missing Horford and Joe, that is just way too much.

if all of the big three are in, then the Hawks are a top 3 team. if only two of the three are playing, then the Hawks are a playoff team. if only one of the three are playing, then the Hawks are a bubble team.

Drew needs to bench Hinrich for the rest of the season, don't give him one minute and hopefully squeak by until Joe and Horford gets back.

He's fine as a backup. We don't need him as a starter. Think Udonis Haslem.

You guys haven't taken into account Ivan Johnson has been playing center for us.

No one ever thought he could play center. Except LD. He was a decent PF though.

Lets assume Ivan has the impact and ability of a PF. Then who's going to pick up the slack? Vlad Radmanovic at PF?
washed up McGrady at SF?

ROFL, GTFO kid. I've followed Lin's career since he was a sophomore in college, and I'm not the guy who thinks we could get Derrick Williams for Marvin

Lin is a 6'4 PG but LD would play Lin at the wing and give the ball to Hinrich just for giggles. And Sund is the one who would order it game in and game out to try to redeem the 2 draft picks he lost.

I'm not the only one who thought so.

What's "lame" is YOU calling anybody else a troll.

You've been angry and insulting since you came to this board. I hope we're good therapy for you. Maybe dumping on this board helps keep you calm in your real life?
