Wonder why no one talks about Moe Harkless. He is pretty good.

Harkless is a good shout, indeed. I`d put him in my favorite non-lottery players but I have a feeling he`s staying at St. John`s for one more year.

But if he decides to enter upcoming draft he could be one of the sleepers.

Any pick after that I'm taking Lamb

With Drummond, there is a risk, but he has huge upside. If we keep Nash, he would become Amare 2.0. Although he might stay Amare 2.0 or he could learn to be an agressive rebounder and defender and become scary good. I think he's worth the risk.

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I feel as though we have no choice but to go after a sg because, we need a scorer

Maybe in the NFL I can sort of see the argument of drafting for need, but not in basketball. There really is no excuse for not going after the guy you feel has the best long term projection. If you're relying on a rookie going into the season you're already screwed.

Trying to fill a need gets you guys like Alando Tucker and Robin Lopez.

I mean, at some point in the draft you do need to look at need, but that's more for the 20's till the end of the draft. Especially in the lotto, you have got to get best player/talent available.

I just disagree. Hitting on a late round or 2nd round pick(especially if you're a good team picking late) has far more value to your team than some stop gap.

I agree. I miss having a player like Joe Johnson, and to a lesser extent, JRich. If we don't win the lottery and have a chance at Anthony Davis, I say we have to take the best sg on the board. MKG would be hard to pass up if he is there, but maybe we won't have to make that choice and can just go with Beal at around #8-9.

MKG is not as good as ya'll make him out to be! Barnes is a better player

i hope we get two later picks and maybe trade them both for a higher pick.

if not

our pick

BARNES

pick via trade

Marshall or Moultrie!

Saw on the general draft board that MKG wants to stay all four years.

I see him leaving early. Calipari tends to push his baby birds out of the nest after one year, plus Kentucky has a good chance of winning the tournament.

The whole draft can be changed by 1 or 2 lottery players deciding to stay.

Harrison Barnes will stay unless he wins a championship, and MKG and Austin Rivers are questionable.

Jeremy Lamb is good just not aggressive enough on offense.

Rivers will stay. Barnes will not win the championship but will still declare. MKG will win the championship and declare. I think Coach K keeps Rivers around for at least another year.

Have to agree that Drummond has been underwhelming - ideally, he should stay in college.

finally watched the SYR/UConn game I've had tivo'd forever - Melo looks good, as does that kid Kris Josef

Well, it's official: The 2012 stinks.

GMs and scouts have come out saying Drummond, P Jones, Rivers, T Jones, Sullinger have not shown much improvement. (http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/21 ... Draft_Pool)

And guys like Barnes and MKG will most likely go back to school.

All those who keep talking about having 2012 draft picks - think its time to cool those talks. If anything, trade the pick and get multiple ones for 2013 and/or incoming players in their prime this coming offseason.

No, not yet but he's on the "to watch" list

I was interested to see how much Drummond fluctuates from very impressive to head-shakingly inept.
When he's on, he's terrifying.

More and more I'm thinking someone wil be very happy with Zeller .... I am always wrong in my assessment of blue-collar white guys. Hansbrough, McRoberts, Hayward .... all solid picks. I still think Mullens will come around. Spencer Hawes is another.
