Not eliminated for certain, but Rytas now goes through to the Eurocup quarter finals (elite 8). One other team from that group will go through with Rytas, likely Kuban (Krasnador, Russia)
I'm not familiar with the Eurocup...does that include teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, etc??
No, Real and Barca are Euroleague teams - the highest level. This is one level down, but Rytas would be better than some Euroleague teams, just not as good as Real, Barca, CSKA Moscow, Panathanaikos, etc. Those are among the big fish of European basketball and always in Euroleague.
Rytas also plays in the VTB league which does have a couple of Euroleague teams, including CSKA, Asseco Prokom (whom they beat) and Lithuanian arch-rival Zalgiris.
Rytas has a decent chance to make the final four of Eurocup, and a decent chance to qualify for the playoffs in VTB. They have a bit of hope of winning Eurocup, if they have a really good playoff run, but winning VTB would be a major long-shot.
