On Ersan, absolutely love the way he plays, but IMO he's a more experienced Vesely with a jump shot. I still like Jans upside

what exactly is Jans upside?

IMO, kirilenko.

Kirilenko? You mean with his shooting hand in a cast?

The loss not withstanding, a game like this gives one lots of hope for the future. It confirms the theory that Wall would be different with good shooters. Seeing Singleton break out a bit; Booker hit his jumper; Low end minimum salary vets doing well on the floor with Wall.

Maybe we;ve also turned the corner on giving up on McGee and Young. I guess Jason Reid got hammered unfairly.

Tough loss but great comeback and good lessons learned in this game. I think this game clearly showed what Wall could be if you put shooters around him capable of opening the floor. He'll find them and if they start knocking down shots it will really open the floor for him in the halfcourt where he can attack the rim or drive and dish.

Singleton also was a lot more active tonight which was good to see. It looked like he was using his length and athleticism a lot more tonight and didn't play as stiff. He still needs to improve at finishing but he definitely made progress tonight and it seemed like the AS break did him some good.

Booker played a good game. I still see him as more of a high quality reserve, but that could change if he consistently knocks down the J. He could be really effective in the high post with his ability to finish with either hand and attack strong down the middle. Again if the J becomes more consistent he can really be effective there.

OT but I like you're posting style jive. I rarely find myself disagreeing with you.

Great tank loss.

This game does seem to confirm this sort of wacky theory that I have been developing for a few weeks. It's strange, but hear me out.

It's hard to explain, but I'll try my best. It's like....if Wall passes to guys, and then they like.....make the shots....then he'll get more assists. And then he'll be a pure point guard. Right?

You really need to take off your rose colored glasses. Wall is clearly a selfish chucker in the Tyreke Evans/Melo/Iverson mold. Stop kidding yourself.

That actually turned out to be fun game to watch, unexpectedly.

I lol'd... silently. That's a brutal thread in the Bucks forum - with the overwhelming majority really disappointed that the Bucks won. C'mon, the Bucks have a real shot at making the playoffs! They need to trade away all their draft choices to get more veterans... with ugly long-term contracts!

“We played guys that wanted to play defense in the second half,” Wittman said. “I wasn’t going to go with anybody else. Somehow we have to break this thing of (Nick Young and Javale McGee) just coming out and playing.”

Well, if Javale really wants to redeem himself, he's got a decent opponent tonight. But somehow, I bet he doesn't understand that he did anything wrong.

This is by far my biggest question about McGee. He should be embarrassed to show his face after that foul. I suspect that instead, he is grumbling about sitting, being singled out, etc.

It looks to me like he could be SO effective if he would simply listen and do what his coaches tell him. I had hoped that a new coach, new system next year might help with a breakthrough, but I really doubt it. I'd still offer the 1-year tender, plus a discounted longer-term deal (maybe up to $7M per?), but that's about it until he shows some ability to listen and process how to play the game of basketball.

Sadly, the Wizards are a lock to give-up 100+ points per night, we just have to out-score our opponents if we we want to win, just like the EJ days.

The tender is a given, but to me Blatche's contract with less years would be the absolute max I'd be willing to offer.

If he balks, time to move on.

There's simply no point in taking risks with a player that hasn't show the slightest capacity to absorb what the coaches are telling him and to translate into useful production on the court.

4 years into his playing career he can't even bothered to box out, how on earth do you place any sort of faith into his ability to be a player that can contribute to winning?
