Before anyone says something about me being a Nets fan, I acknowledge I'm probably bias in this case. But I also know what a rebuild is/looks like. And I'm definitely not saying take the Nets trade, before you accuse me of that either. Just looking for discussion.

This says we are looking at rolling the dice with a 10% chance at hoping he stays and preferring the 18mil in capspace as opposed to any of the deals out there. A plan I agree with, if you have any chance at keeping him you try and if you fail you get the 18 mil in capspace if he walks.
It also says the GS owner is bats*&t crazy and won't make a deal for anyone not named Dwight.
This could get crazy.

I could see a ton of teams that would take a chance on him with a 2nd rounder. Dallas/LAL/Portland/NY/NJ/Mil/Miami come to mind.

Asked wherever I go what will happen in D.Howard saga. My thought: D-12 stays in Orl until July then makes decision. I'm in minority there.

Really curious who they could be....I'd guess
Atlanta
Golden State
LA Lakers
LA Clippers
NY
..................
Indy?
Portland?
Cleveland (shot in the dark cause I can't think of anyone else)

Houston is a pretty safe bet, I'd say.

It would be great if we could get Horford and Smoove and maybe Teague with picks for Dwight. there, we'd still be a bad team with good pieces to build around IMO.

If one of those teams calling is the OKC Thunder... uhh hello Otis, ask for this! [btw, there is no way OKC will trade Ibaka, so don't even ask for him]

Run with this line-up.
PG-Westbrook/Nelson/Smith
SG-Harden/Redick/Liggins
SF-J-Rich/Hedo/Q-Rich/Clark*
PF-Anderson/BBD/Harper/Clark*
C- Perkins/Mohammed/Clark*
*can play multiple positions
Westbrook is a stud, and Harden is a legit borderline star SG. Move J-Rich to SF. Bring Nelson, Redick, and Hedo off the bench (depth!). You have Anderson (a very good improving player) still on the team to receive timely passes from Westbrook and Harden when the defense collapses due to their dribble penetration. Defensively we are still a threat at C (Perkins, Mohammed) at PF (Ryan, and Davis), and now even more so at PG (Westbrook), and SG (Harden, Redick)... we improve in those areas. Westbrook will be the man on the team, and so will Harden and Ryan. We get a play-maker and creator; and we still maintain our depth and defensive abilities. We also instantly become more athletic and our fast break opportunities will increase.
I'd do this in a heartbeat.

Assuming its something like 12/Hedo or Baby we'd be
Teague
JRich
Smooth
Ryno
Horford
That teams decent in my opinion. I would probably try and upgrade our center spot (LOL) and move Big Al to PF where he'll probably be more effective. I'd be more about it as well if Smooth was going to stick around but he's got one more year then he'll probably jet.
