For D12 I'm confident that stance would change.

Looking at their roster, the Rockets are definitely a team we should be sending Dwight to. Apparently they're happy to rent him and try recruit Deron, and they've got a lot of assets of varying attractiveness:

Lowry
Scola
Martin
Dalembert
C.Lee
Dragic
Patterson
Budinger
Parsons

Take your pick and make a package.

Lowry, Scola, Martin, and Lee with a pick or 2 for Dwight, Hedo, and Duhon, would be fine with me.

Problem with that is who is our C? BBD? Scola + Ryan is a lil redundant...would prob have to try to flip one of them, same with Lee, JJ, JRich, KMart...I proposed a trade earlier here that I love:

Gives us immense caproom next summer as well to go after Bynum, Monta, Iggy, JSmith, and we don't get redundant pieces to what we already have really. Parsons is an up-and-coming baller imo.

So what's this business about "Forget it people! He ain't opting in!!!" that you're putting out there? This isn't directed at just you. I just think people need to chill.

Portland's talks with Minnesota for Jamal Crawford are part of a 3-way scenario with Lakers, source says. Michael Beasley would go to LA.

Man, this has been the worst season I have watched since the 21-win season. Sad part is, the team is doing VERY well, especially considering the circumstances this pop star has put us in.

That makes it hurt more, if we were losing, it would at least be understandable.

There's an entire field of study of body language, don't be stupid about this. Did I say "omg, he is 100% gone!!!" based on that video? No, but things can be inferred, in context of situations, in conjunction with things that have been said/done by certain parties. You're one of those people who take everything at literal face-value aren't you? Nothing can ever be deduced, inferred, calculated without 100% knowledge? I never said for sure he was or wasn't leaving based on the video. I agreed that "it doesn't look good" based on body language and actions within the context of the whole situation. I was at the game, feet from the tunnel. I saw the look on Dwight's face, I saw his shoulders, I saw him walking away. You're probably right though...he was probably just really genuinely sad that we won the game. You're hilarious.

You're being belligerent. Where did I say he was sad because he lost the game? I didn't. I'm not saying that nothing can be inferred or deduced without knowledge, I am saying that plenty people are taking whatever scraps of "evidence" that support the decision they have already made about Dwight's situation and using it. What would you have said if he had left the court beaming and hugged Martins, "Things looking good, I think he'll stay"?

Re: his departure from the court, who's to say he wasn't just pissed at himself about all the free throws he missed late on that should have closed out the game? Who's to say a fan didn't say something to him as he left the floor which upset him? It's easy to make up scenarios that support what you want them to support. You may or may not be correct.

So much has gone on in the last few months, most of it behind closed doors, with the only windows into such goings on being anonymous "sources", and yet so many assumptions are still being made based on the back of basically nothing.

Looks like the Lakers are fittin to set up another ripoff. Unless they move Gasol to Minny, they have no valuable pieces that would interest POR or Minny.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

We then pursue tampering charges, and get their draft pick and they get fined. How hilarious would all that be if it came to fruition? Talk about the ultimate payback hahahaha.

Now this we can definitely agree on :D

My deal in my post a few up solves us the C problem, but doesn't give us the same cap relief (I don't think?). It's essentially:

ORL receives: Lowry, Scola, Dalembert, C.Lee AND Beasley
ORL gives: Dwight, Hedo

HOU receives: Dwight, Hedo, A.Randolph
HOU gives: Lowry, Scola, Dalembert, C.Lee and Martin

MIN receives: Martin
MIN gives: Beasley and Randolph + maybe a pick?

ORL would look like:
Lowry/Nelson/Duhon (could even add Duhon to HOU)
Redick/C.Lee/J-Rich
Beasley/QRich/J-Rich
Anderson/Scola/BBD
Dalembert/BBD

With the tampering charges out there & Dwight not wanting the Nets to lose their assets I really think he will be pressured into opting in for next season.

He may not be a pleasure over that span, but that's what it may come down to.

A disgruntled Melo in NY with the big city media piling on him can only be a good thing for us right now. We all know Dwight doesn't want to be in Melo's shoes right now.....not by a mile.
