You've got to understand - we've spent the last few months being told he was gone, done deal, hello Brooklyn. I can't speak for everyone, but I never judged him for wanting to leave, Otis Smith's tenure as GM would have driven anyone to that. There were times where I felt he handled things badly, but him wanting to leave was his choice. I also held out hope that he might stay, even if I thought the odds were against it.

I do have sympathy for Nets fans. As insufferable as some of your fanbase has been recently, I don't really wish what is ahead for you guys - you're probably now going to face the same nonsense we did with Deron/Dallas, and truth be told, it sucks.

Well that's not really your place to judge tbh. Our fans have been walking on eggshells the whole season. When your franchise goes through a similar thing, then you'll understand. If Deron Williams requested a trade out of Brooklyn, I'm sure you'll find a bunch of fans jumping ship on supporting him as well, and saying things out of frustration and anger.

i still haven't got the answer to my question from anybody: who are the nets fans? seriously, who exactly are they? VCO left them, the franchise leaving jersey, etc.

i am beginning to think most Nets fans are either Russian or British.

"All in" for the rest of the season is not "opting-in" for next season. Interest choice of words from Woj. I'm a bit skeptical about this opting-in rumor. I'll believe it when the papers are signed.

Alex Martins should be on the phone with the Nets now. We'd trade them Duhon, Baby, Q-Rich, Daniel Orton and our 1st Rounder in 2065. At least they'd get something for Deron instead of losing him for nothing to the Mavs!
